BUTANOX M-50 VR – 30 KG

  • Peroxide content – 35%,
  • Form – clear liquid,
  • Amount of active oxygen –  8.8-9.0%,
  • Ts max – 25°C (maximum storage temperature),
  • SADT – 60°C (self-accelerating decomposition temperature).

Methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) in dimethyl phthalate (DMP).

General purpose initiator, designed for curing unsaturated polyester resins, vinylester resins, polyester gel-coats, vinylester resins, putties based on polyester resins, varnishes.

Butanox M-50 VR is characterized by a very low water content and lack of polar compounds, which makes it particularly suitable for fibreglass-based composite products.

The initiator contains a red indicator system, which in most cases disappears during curing.
